MUSIC AT ST. PAUL'S

St. Paul's has a wonderful music program centered around our Noack Opus 126 Organ. 


Rose Ann Burgess is our Organist/Music Director and is continuing to build the program.


We have music opportunities for all ages; details are below.

ST. PAUL'S MUSIC GROUPS

Choir

Description

Meeting Time

Caroler's Choir

(Ages 3 to 2nd Grade) Learn to Praise God through music and fellowship with Mrs. Nancy, Mrs. Judy & Mrs. Camille

Wednesdays
4:00 to 4:30

Chorister's Choir

(Grades 3 through 6) Join Ms. Burgess each week to sing music of all styles, participate in a devotional time, study the great hymns of the church and play instruments to include the choirchimes.

Wednesdays
5:00 to 5:45

Canterbury Ringers

(Middle School through Adult) This group rings a four octave set of bells.  they will play at least once a month for the worship services and for other groups in the community.

6:15 to 7:15
(in Bell Room)

Chancel Choir

(High School Seniors through Adult) this choir provides music for thesunday services as well as other times throughout the year. All styles of music are sung by the 32 current members.

7:30 to 9:00

 

Sundays
4:30 to 5:20

 

 

 

NOTE:  On the schedule is "Bagpipes Rehearsal". No, we don't have a "bagpipe" choir, but our Rector Emeritus, The Rev. Dr. Robert T. Copenhaver, is a member of the Virginia Highlanders, a Bagpipe Band. They practice their music (?) at St. Paul's, and welcome interested people.
